Miss Coburn and Keyes will exchange wedding vows January 12 in Taylor

Mr. and Mrs. Philip Michael Coburn of Ridgeland announce the engagement of their daughter, Madison Elizabeth Coburn, to Houston Rogers Keyes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Franklin Keyes of Ridgeland.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Joseph Gauthe’ Jr. of Ridgeland, and Mr. and Mrs. Philip Earl Coburn of Gulfport. Miss Coburn was graduated in 2010 from Jackson Academy. She was graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi in 2014 where she was a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and the Trent Lott Leadership Institute. At Ole Miss, she was inducted into the Hall of Fame and served as president of Delta Delta Delta sorority. In 2017, she was graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law where she earned her juris doctor. She is an associate at Butler Snow, LLP in Ridgeland.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Adams of Nashville, the late Hallie Keyes of Ridgeland, and Earl and Shirley Keyes of Ridgeland. Keyes was graduated in 2010 from Jackson Academy. He earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Mississippi in 2014, where he played football and was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He is an insurance producer at Southern Insurance Specialist Corporation in Ridgeland.

The couple will exchange vows January 12 at 6 p.m. at Plein Air Chapel in Taylor, with a reception to follow at The Mill at Plein Air.
