Miss Eley and Creson to exchange wedding vows in an October 6 service

Mr. and Mrs. James Howard Eley of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Leigh Eley, to Gibeault “Beau” Cooper Creson, son of Elizabeth Donnelly and the late Larry Barkley Creson III and Shellie Ruoff Creson, all of Memphis.

Miss Eley is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Clyde Hubert Gunn Jr. and Kathy Gunn, all of Moss Point, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John James Eley Jr. and Nell Eley, all of Terry. Creson is the grandson of the late Joanne Gibeault, Charlene Creagh Creson of Portland, formerly of Nashville, the Honorable and Mrs. Larry Barkley Creson Jr. of Memphis and Dr. and Mrs. Daniel Gardner Boeh of Paducah, Ky.

Miss Eley attended St. Andrew’s Episcopal School and was graduated from Rhodes College in 2008. She received her juris doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2012, and is an attorney at Butler Snow LLP in Nashville. Creson attended Memphis University School and was graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University in 2010. He received his juris doctorate in 2013 from Vanderbilt Law School, where he was selected for membership in the Order of the Coif and served as president of the Honor Council. He is also an attorney at Butler Snow LLP.

The couple lives in Nashville, where they will exchange vows October 6.
