Miss Kirchner and Lamas planning July 7 wedding in Little Rock setting

Mr. and Mrs. Mark Edward Kirchner of Little Rock announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Lynn Kirchner, to Joseph Lawrence Lamas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Joseph Lamas of Madison.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Herman Kirchner Jr. of Little Rock, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ray Carroll Warrick Jr. of West Helena, Ark.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Verne Bakeler Lamas and the late Harold James Lamas of Biloxi, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lee Arnold of Taylorsville.

Miss Kirchner is a 2011 honors graduate of Mount Saint Mary Academy High School in Little Rock, and an honors graduate of the University of Mississippi, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She is pursuing a degree in nutrition/dietician at the University of Central Arkansas.  

Lamas is a 2008 honors graduate of Saint Joseph Catholic School, and a graduate of Mississippi State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He is associated with Nalco Water as a chemical sales representative.


The couple will exchange vows on the evening of July 7 at Our Lady of Holy Souls Catholic Church in Little Rock, with a reception to follow at Junior League of Little Rock.
