Miss Letson and Pence to exchange wedding vows July 6 in Richland ceremony

Mr and Mrs Jerry W. Letson of Madison announce the engagement of their daughter, Leah Jordan Letson, to Grant Christian Pence, son of Mr and Mrs Paul S. Pence of Hoover, AL.

Miss Letson is the granddaughter of Mr and Mrs Billy C. Carpenter of Madison and the late Mr and Mrs Winford Letson of Courtland, AL.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Joyce Higginbotham of Hoover, and the late Charles Stewart of Pell City, AL, and the late Mr and Mrs Herbert Pence of Atalla, AL.

The bride-elect is a 2013 graduate of Madison Central High School. She was graduated from Mississippi College in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She was a member of Swannanoa Social Tribe. Currently Miss Letson is a second grade teacher at Flowood Elementary School. 

Pence is a 2012 homeschool graduate. He was graduated from Mississippi College in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and in 2018 with a master’s degree in accounting. While at Mississippi College he participated in the sporting clays shooting team. He is a tax accountant with C Spire.

The couple will exchange vows July 6, at the Cotton Market in Richland. A reception will follow at the Market.
