Miss Mackey and Fijman planning April 6 wedding at Henry S. Jacobs Camp

Mr. and Mrs. Mark Mackey of Little Rock announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Sarah Mackey, to Jacob Francis Fijman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Fijman of New Orleans, formerly of Madison.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Elaine Luber and the late Harvey Luber, and Dean Mackey and the late Gene Mackey, all of Little Rock.

Miss Mackey is a 2011 honor graduate of Little Rock Central High School. In 2015, she was graduated from Rhodes College with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science. She is earning her master’s of biological sciences at the University of Southern Mississippi. At Rhodes, she was vice president of administration of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She is a member of Tri Beta Biological honor society, Rho Lambda Greek Leadership honor society and a Bonner Scholar. She works as a GIS Specialist at Barry Vittor and Associates.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis Lanier Weaver of Brandon, and Mrs. Alison Fijman and the late Dr. José Fijman of Cape Coral, Fla.

Fijman is a 2011 graduate of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School and a 2015 graduate of Louisiana State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and was the social chairman of Theta Xi fraternity. He is the development manager at Henry S. Jacobs Camp in Utica.

 

 The couple will be married April 6 at Henry S. Jacobs Camp in Utica.
