Miss Pearson and Lause planning December 1 wedding at First Presbyterian Church
Mr. and Mrs. John Franklin Pearson announce the engagement of their daughter, Grace Brooks Pearson, to Scott Michael Lause, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Francis Lause of Saint Louis.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Francis Jefferson Lundy and the late William Norwood Lofton, and the late Mr. Lundy, all of Jackson, and Mrs. James Denton Pearson and the late Mr. Pearson of Cleveland. Miss Pearson is a 2008 honor graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. In 2012, she was graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy. She earned her master’s of accountancy the following year. At Ole Miss, she was a member and officer of Chi Omega sorority. A Certified Public Accountant, she is an operations analyst in the office of investments at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Catherine Paust Moore and the late Edward John Hellman of Saint Louis, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Francis Lause of Washington, Mo. Lause is a 2007 graduate of the Saint Louis Country Day School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Mississippi where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. In 2015 he was graduated with a juris doctorate from the University Of Tulsa College of Law. He is assistant general counsel for the Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority in Saint Louis.
The couple will be married December 1 at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.
