Miss Reves and Treutel announce plans for April 27 wedding at St. Peter

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Ray Reves of Madison announce the engagement of their daughter, Peyton Lindsey Reves, to Hunter Brian Treutel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Brian Treutel of Bay Saint Louis.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Peggy Childs Mitchell and the late Henry Cooper Mitchell of Louisville, and Louise Reves and the late Max N. Reves of Jackson. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Loislyn Scardino and the late AJ Scardino of Pass Christian, and David Treutel and the late Penelope Treutel of Bay Saint Louis.

Miss Reves is a 2011 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. She was graduated summa cum laude from the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College at the University of Mississippi in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. At Ole Miss, she was an active member of Phi Mu fraternity and held several leadership positions. She will receive a doctor of medicine in May from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and will pursue a residency in internal medicine beginning in July.

Treutel is a 2008 graduate of Saint Stanislaus College. He was graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. At the university, he was an active member of the fraternity of Delta Psi. He is a mechanical engineer for Taylor Power Systems in Clinton.

The couple will be married April 27 at the Cathedral of Saint Peter the Apostle in Jackson, with a reception to follow.
