Miss Robertson and Pavatte planning March 10 wedding at Plein Air in Taylor

Mr. and Mrs. John Bracy Beard and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Covey Robertson announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Elizabeth Robertson, to William Mason Pavatte, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Allen Pavatte of Madison.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Phillips Woodward of Oxford, and Jack “Bouncer” Westbrook Robertson Jr. and the late Gwenette Phillips Robertson of Jackson. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Petty of Atoka, Tenn., and Donna Pavatte and the late James R. Pavatte of Millington, Tenn.

Miss Robertson is a 2010 graduate of the Veritas School and a 2014 graduate with honors from the University of Mississippi, with a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders. She was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi social sorority and Gamma Sigma Alpha and Gamma Beta Phi honor societies. Miss Robertson is pursuing her master’s in speech language pathology at the University of Mississippi.

Pavatte is a 2010 graduate of Briarcrest Christian School in Memphis. He is a United States Navy veteran and his awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Navy Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal. He attends the University of Southern Mississippi where he is pursuing a degree in business administration. He is employed with 84 Lumber.


The couple will exchange vows March 10, 2018 at The Chapel at Plein Air in Taylor.
