Miss Smith and Mounger planning June 2 wedding ceremony in Tupelo
Lucas Smith and Kristy Smith of Tupelo announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Mackenzie Smith, to Robert Gore Mounger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Mounger.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dudley W. Reeves, and Emily Moody, all of Columbus. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William D. Mounger, Robert A. Carroll and the late Alice Carroll, all of Jackson.
Miss Smith was graduated from Tupelo High School with honors in 2014. She attends Mississippi State University where she is seeking a bachelor’s degree in economics and is a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She will begin law school at the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock, upon graduating from Mississippi State in May.
Mounger was graduated from Jackson Preparatory School with honors in 2014. He attends the University of Mississippi and is seeking a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Patterson School of Accounting and will graduate with honors through membership in the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. Mounger is a member of Kappa Alpha fraternity and former member of Ole Miss men’s tennis team
He will begin working as an investment banking analyst for Stephens, Inc. in Little Rock, upon graduating from the University of Mississippi in May.
The wedding will be June 2 in Tupelo.
