Miss Wilbanks and Hood planning October 13 wedding in Corinth ceremony
Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Michael Wilbanks of Corinth announce the engagement of their daughter, Meredith Brooke Wilbanks, to Elijah Cade Hood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Kendall Hood of Flowood.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Shirley Ann Wilbanks and Sue Francis Williams of Corinth and the late Charles Riser Wilbanks and Donald Williams of Corinth.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Betty Herrington of Pearl and the late Mims M. Herrington of Pearl and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Robin Hood of Utica.
Miss Wilbanks is a 2012 graduate of Corinth High School. She was graduated from Mississippi State University where she was a member of Delta Gamma fraternity. The bride-elect is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Hood is a 2014 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. At Mississippi State University, he was president of the Exercise Science Honor Society. He was graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, and is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
The couple will exchange wedding vows October 13 at First Baptist Church, Corinth. A reception will be held at the Franklin Courtyard following the ceremony.
