Miss Wilson and Sims to wed May 29 at Pink Gin Beach in St. George’s, Grenada

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sims of Madison announce the upcoming marriage of their son, Joshua Allen Sims, to Lindsey Elizabeth Wilson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Clay of Tupelo and Mr. and Mrs. Greg Wilson of Roanoke, Ala.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Madison Central High School and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Mississippi State University.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hewey C. Holmes Sr. of Jackson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James F. Sims of Camden.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Tupelo High School. She holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in culinary arts from Mississippi University for Women and a second in nutrition and dietetics from Mississippi State University.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Golden from Pell City, Ala., Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wilson from Alexander City, Ala., Mr. and Mrs. Harmon McDowd from Roanoke, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Clay from Tupelo.

The couple will be wed May 29 at Pink Gin Beach in St. George’s, Grenada. A celebration of marriage will follow once they return from a wedding trip.

They will live in Madison, where she is a registered dietitian with the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and he is a mortgage loan officer with River Hills Bank.
