Avery Grace Aldridge and Nicholas Peyton Case were united in marriage at six o’clock on July 8 at Fondren Church in Jackson. The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Dr. James Robert Futral Jr.
The bride is the daughter of Elizabeth Ashley Harkins and Robert Earl Aldridge, both of Madison. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Eugene Aldridge and Mrs. Gary Jude Harkins and the late Mr. Harkins, all of Brandon.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Shaw Case of Madison. He is the grandson of Clinton Eugene Case and the late Mrs. Case, and Brenda Joyce Penton, all of Clinton.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an A-line designer ivory silk satin ball gown, featuring a detachable one shoulder (off-the shoulder) sleeve and cascading side ruffles. The back included satin buttons the length of the dress and a detachable cathedral length bow. Her cathedral length sheer veil with silk outlining complemented the gown. The bride carried a bouquet of Sarah Bernhardt peonies with white hydrangeas around the base.
Maid of honor was the bride’s cousin, Emme Aldridge. Bridesmaids were Macey Lovertich, Blair Amberson, Ally Brumfield, Julia Farley Collins, Mary Rogers Coon, Katherine Greer, Carlysle Harkins, Emerson Harkins, Andi Herring, Harper Laird, Anna Kathryn McDaniel, Hanisee Sirmon, Lilly Shelton, and Abby Wright. Junior bridesmaid was Crews Carter.
The bridegroom’s father was best man. Groomsmen included Jude Aldridge, Jonathan Boone, Harrison Case, Walker Clayton, Jace Correro, Carson Dargie, Russell Gammon, Thomas Guest, Jack Hannon, Trammell Martin, Stephen Matthews, Reed McIntosh, Bryan Sanderson, Tyner Swedenburg, and Drew Wright. Ushers were Andrew Berry, Dalton Ford, and Spencer Williamson.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Country Club of Jackson. The six-tiered bride’s cake was decorated with pink sugar paste roses and fresh flowers surrounding the base. Each layer was a different flavor. The bridegroom’s cake was a two-tiered chocolate flavored cake with a hand-molded red-fox lab holding a duck to resemble the couple’s dog, Rook. Guests were entertained by The Chee-Weez from New Orleans.
On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner for the bridal party, family, and close friends at The Faulkner. Bridesmaids, program attendants, cousins, aunts, and grandmothers were invited to a salon party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Hixon, on the morning of the wedding. After a wedding trip to Saint Lucia, the couple now resides in Madison.
