Watkins & Eager attorney Keith Turner spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson about the new Jackson area flood control plan.
Turner said the plan could prevent 92 percent of the past flooding and save a billion in property damage. The new plan involves deepening and widening the Pearl below Lefleur's Bluff State Park.
