The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra (MSO) celebrated in a farewell-to-winter gala, Carnivals of Symphony, at Two Mississippi Museums. Music was presented by Southern Komfort Brass Band and John Uzodinma. The gala included a cocktail dinner and a silent auction.
Each year, MSO reaches more than 75,000 Mississippians in 12 communities throughout the state, and continues to add more locations each year. Funds raised from the gala help support education initiatives such as youth orchestras, school concerts, summer string camp, college outreach, and composer’s forums, which provide students of all ages the opportunity to experience and fall in love with the art of music.
