For the 2026 event, the City of Jackson and organizers of the Hal’s St. Paddy’s Parade & Festival announce new rules to maintain a festive yet safe and secure time for all Jacksonians and visitors. The 2026 Hal’s St. Paddy’s Parade will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in downtown Jackson.
These rules are reflective of a new city ordinance. The new rules that will be enforced downtown and along the parade route on March 28th are as follows:
No boomboxes/noisemakers
No cooking or open flames
No weapons
No items placed on the route before 8 a.m. on parade day
No glass bottles
No ATVs/golf carts
The 2026 theme, “Stars, Stripes, & Shamrocks,” celebrates America 250, honoring the nation’s 250th anniversary. The theme invites parade participants and spectators alike to celebrate community, tradition, and the shared history that brings people together in the heart of Jackson.
Serving as Grand Marshal for the 2026 Hal’s St. Paddy’s Parade is Jackson Mayor John Horhn, in recognition of his leadership and longstanding support of community-centered events that unite Jacksonians across neighborhoods and generations. Mayor Horhn will lead the parade route on March 28 and participate in festivities throughout the celebration.
