Dewees Road-
The history of this road goes way back but now is a major road for homeowners. This used to be a dirt road and then was paved over roughly 8 years ago. Since then, it has only been patched. It is only getting worse due to the volume of cars from the ever growing subdivisions. A portion of the road washed away about six months ago and has only been filled in with rocks but never repaired correctly. As a result cars are having to slow down to a near stop just to avoid bottoming out.
Drivers are dodging cars daily due to the craters all over. The emergency service vehicles are now being impended due to the road conditions. I have called the road department but cannot get anything done. If they do come out they fit a hole here an there.
The trees and grass is growing way over the road making this ever more difficult to travel. I know the supervisors have prioritize other projects over this one but 8+ years is enough time to have a decent road to travel on. There is more than enough tax money going down this road daily to have a normal paved road with lane markers.
