First Baptist Jackson has scheduled a community-wide, outdoor sunrise service to celebrate Easter at 7:15 a.m. on April 4 at the Mississippi Agriculture Museum at 1150 Lakeland Drive.
FBJ's worship ministry will lead the music, and Senior Pastor Chip Stevens will deliver a sermon focused on the meaning of Easter and the hope found in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
This casual worship service will follow all recommended COVID-19 safety protocols, including social distancing.
"COVID has been tough on many people, and we hope this service will be the dawning of a
new day for those disconnected from a faith family during this season," Stevens said.
