Hannah Sayle Flint and David Gorman Krueger were united in marriage on April 7 in an intimate evening ceremony at Rose’s Luxury in Washington, D.C.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Lee Flint of Jackson. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Dudley Buford and the late Mr. and Mrs. David Sherrell Flint, all of Jackson.
The bridegroom is the son of Joan Mary Krueger and Fred Krueger of Wisconsin. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Krueger and the late Laverne Hanks and Kenneth Hanks.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory designer gown with hand-beaded spaghetti straps with a lace overlay and a scoop back. The sheer bodice was embellished with embroidered chiffon petals and finished with a sequined Chantilly lace underlay. Her veil was cathedral length with a scalloped lace edge.
She carried a bouquet featuring eucalyptus, a favorite of her maternal grandmother, in several varieties. Seeded eucalyptus and pops of blue Veronica brought in the bride’s favorite blue colors and added some elements of whimsy amongst the classic white Playa Blanca roses which were wrapped in a monogrammed lace handkerchief, a gift from her aunt.
Matron of honor was Allie Flint Brannan of Ellicott City, Md. Junior bridesmaids were Rivers Riley Brannan of Ellicott City and Abigail Anne Krueger of Alexandria, Va. They wore identical A-line halter gowns in slate blue. The ring bearer was James Bradley Krueger of Alexandria.
Following the ceremony, the couple hosted a four-course dinner featuring an appetizer of coconut ice cream topped with caviar and ending with miso glazed short rib. The finishing touch was an assortment of Rose’s signature spoon-sized desserts. The couple left the reception in a blaze of sparklers.
After a wedding trip in the Shenandoah Valley, the couple now resides in Alexandria. The bride is an attorney with Hunton Andrews Kurth of D.C. where she focuses her practice on securities law matters, capital market transactions, corporate governance, and ESG and sustainability matters for domestic and international clients. The bridegroom is a Senior Military Fellow and Lecturer at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C.
