The Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) has published its master plan for improvements in the CCID, or Capitol Complex Improvement District.
The document was presented to the Mississippi Legislature yesterday.
The CCID stretches from Meadowbrook Road in the north to E. South Street in the South. East to west it runs from the LeFleur Museum District to Jackson State University.
The plan outlines includes a needs assessment for the area, prioritizes improvements and discusses financing.
The document was drawn up by Waggoner Engineering, AJA Consultants and Cooke Douglass Farr and Lemons Architecture, with input from the DFA and the CCID advisory panel.
