Another sewer main break has reduced traffic to two lanes on Ridgewood Road.
The break occurred last week along Ridgewood just south of Lockwood Avenue.
Traffic is reduced to one north-bound and one south-bound lane between Lockwood and Roswell Drive.
A sewer pump has been installed. It was not known at press time when the break would be fixed. Jackson city officials weren’t immediately available for comment.
The break represents hundreds that are currently plaguing the city. Last month, the one-percent oversight commission loaned the city more than $7 million to make emergency sewer repairs, including several on the Northside.
The commission governs how Jackson spends a special one-percent infrastructure sales tax.
