Mayor Lumumba keeps saying that in light of the impact of frigid temperatures on Jackson’s water system, there are ongoing efforts to raise water pressure in the pipes. In the December 28 edition of the Clarion Ledger, he was quoted as saying “there was nothing that could have prevented this.”
