She and her mother discussed her latest book Sunburned. The book is a summer thriller set in St. Barts and involves a murder mystery. This is Wood’s fifth book.

Catholic Charities, Inc. of Jackson hosted its 20th Annual Bishop’s Ball, honoring Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi and Malcolm White, recently at the Two Mississippi Museums in downtown Jackson. The night included food, drinks, music by the Patrick Harkins Band, and a live and silent auction.
