Recently, our church celebrated the retirement of Frieda Lauderdale from driving and coordinating our Meal on Wheels for more than 40 years. For those who do not know what I am talking about, Meals on Wheels (MOW) is a ministry effort organized to deliver hot cooked meals to homebound, often elderly, people in the community.
