Nancy L. Pierce, 95, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. A private service was held at St. James Episcopal Church Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
She was born on February 12, 1929 in Hollandale, Mississippi. She was a long-time resident of Crystal Springs. She graduated from Crystal Springs High School. She later graduated from nursing school and cosmetology school. She enjoyed singing, being outside, gardening, and planting and arranging flowers, although her greatest love was taking care of others.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Walter Pierce; parents, Raffie and Thurman Clements; twin sister, Vida Ann Black; brothers, Jack Barr, Robert Barr, and Herbert Barr.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathie Myers (Joseph); granddaughter, Christine London (Kevin); brother, Dorlan Clements (Glenda); nephews, Jeff Clements, Michael Clements; nieces, Darlene Theriot (Michael), Louise McCune (Tommy); great niece, Michelle Sharp (Daniel), and several other nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces.
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of Baptist Hospice for their loving care and support.
