Tina Adams and Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Adams of Madison announce the engagement of their daughter, Mallory Renee Adams, to Robert Peyton Parker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Parker of Jackson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lowery Herrington of Vidalia, La., and Mr. and Mrs. Tony Adams of Greenwood, and Olivia Fight of Brandon.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nelson of Benoit and Phyllis Parker of Jackson and the late Robert Parker.
Miss Adams is a 2016 graduate of Madison Central High School. She attended Mississippi State University before transferring to Belhaven University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. While at Mississippi State, she was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority. She is currently a registered nurse in the Emergency Department at Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital.
Parker is a 2015 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mississippi State University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. While at Mississippi State, he was a member of the Shackouls Honors College, Sigma Chi fraternity, and the Student Government Association. He is beginning his fourth year of medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, August 5, at First Presbyterian Church of Jackson, with a reception following at the Mississippi Museum of Art in Jackson.
