A new residential development is coming to east Gluckstadt. Madisonville, developed by J.D. Robinson and JWAR properties LLC, has been approved by county supervisors for development.
This subdivision will include over 400 homes. Each lot has a minimum requirement of 1,500 square feet. There are 443 available lots, on a 158-acre property.
Robinson is also developing Yandell Farms. Yandell Farms is approximately 27.40 acres. It includes 90 lots with an average size of a quarter acre. Both subdivisions are located on Yandell Road.
Development of both Yandell Farms and Madisonville is currently underway, and Robinson says construction on the homes will hopefully begin next year.
Robinson says he picked the location for the subdivisons because of the school system. Madison County has a growing school system. There are plans in the works for another school coming to the county by 2023.
