Dr. Mark Fowler and Sue Fowler of Union City, Tenn., along with Mr. and Mrs. Michael Edge of Madison, announce the engagement of Rachel Fowler and Joseph Edge, both of Southaven.
Miss Fowler is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Fowler and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lexie Cranford, all of Union City. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Post of Jackson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Edge of Pace, Fla.
The bride-elect was graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mississippi State University in 2018 with a degree in microbiology and from the University of Tennessee with a master’s degree in pharmacology. She is currently in her third year of medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She is a member of the Phi Mu Sorority.
Edge was graduated Cum Laude from Mississippi State University in 2019 with a marketing degree. At State he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He earned his master’s degree in business administration from Millsaps College in 2020. He is a mortgage processor for Triumph Mortgage in Collierville, Tenn.
The couple will wed June 5 at The Venue at Waddell Place in McKenzie, Tenn.
