Mr. and Mrs. James Claitor Moore of Carthage announce the engagement of their daughter Ashley Elizabeth Moore to Robert Davis House. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown House of Jackson.
Miss Moore is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Clifton Wallace of Carthage and the late Mr. and Mrs. Claitor Hampton Moore of Kosciusko.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. Hershel O’Neal Lockhart and the late Mr. Lockhart of Amory and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Woodrow House of Holly Springs.
The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Leake Academy. She attended the University of Mississippi where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and received a bachelor’s degree in English literature. She also received a master’s degree in English from Mississippi College. She is currently a high school English teacher at Madison Central High School in Madison and plans to pursue her PhD in English next year.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2009 honors graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. He attended Mississippi State University where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta and received a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He also received a Juris Doctorate degree from Mississippi College School of Law. He is an attorney at Anderson, Crawley and Burke in Ridgeland. He is licensed to practice law in both Mississippi and Louisiana.
Vows will be exchanged June 12 at The Faulkner in Jackson, with a reception to follow.
