MR. AND MRS. JOSEPH SURKIN of Madison, announce the engagement of their daughter Mary Kathryn Surkin to Davis Andrew Dalton.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Dalton of Madison, formerly of Cleveland.
The bride-elect is a 2015 graduate of Madison Central and Mississippi State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in General Studies, with an emphasis in exercise physiology. While at State, Miss Surkin was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority.
Dalton is a 2015 graduate of Bayou Academy and was graduated from Delta State University with a bachelor of accountancy in December 2019. At Delta State, he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order, where he served as President.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, October 23, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Cathedral in Jackson.
They will be at home in Madison, with their miniature dapple dachshund Rosco, where Miss Surkin serves as the Workers’ Compensation Coordinator at Capital Ortho and Dalton is the Senior Accountant at Scott Petroleum in Itta Bena.
