Much of the construction in the vicinity of Downtown Madison The City, Madison County, is being constructed by the Bloom Construction Group. They are constructing a new development, on behalf of Haley Properties. The development is named "The Village at Madison."
Construction is ongoing, and the development will be completed in the next 1-2 years.
The Village at Madison will be an 18-acre residential and commercial development located off Main Street and Crawford Street.
In 2019, the Village at Madison was announced. A restaurant opened in 2020, and several retailers have also moved there. A drive through the residential part of The Village shows new townhouses in progress.
