This morning, a threat was called in to Madison Station Elementary, and the campus was immediately evacuated as a precaution. Law enforcement thoroughly investigated the situation, and the campus was later cleared and deemed safe.
We are deeply grateful to the law enforcement agencies that collaborated to ensure the safety of our students and staff throughout the morning. The Madison Station teachers, administrators, and support staff acted swiftly and professionally to transition students to a pre-designated reunification site. This successful response was the result of months of planning and coordination between district personnel and Ridgecrest Church. Because of this combined effort, all students were safely reunited with their families.
While incidents like this are understandably disruptive, we are thankful that the situation was resolved without incident. We trust that law enforcement will continue to see this case through, and we remain committed to working together to provide the safest and best possible educational environment for our students.
