Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Alexander Burrow of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachael Jordan Burrow, to Robert Dean Rummel III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dean Rummel Jr. of Northport, Ala.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dye Burrow Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Golden Sones, both of Jackson.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dean Rummel Sr. of Roswell, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Grover Monroe Mills of Northport, Ala.
Miss Burrow is a 2008 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. She received her bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in journalism from Mississippi State University in 2012. She is currently the style and market director at Veranda Magazine.
Rummel is a 2006 graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in commerce and business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Alabama in 2010. He is currently the associate director of finance with SCA Health.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, May 11, at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and will make their home in Birmingham.
