Lea Deterly Cross of Jackson and Ian McNeill Cross of Ocean Springs announce the engagement of their daughter, Margaret Roland Cross, to Forrest Lee Rogers Davidson, son of Lisa Moore Davidson and Robert Dudley Davidson of Jackson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Deterly of Jackson and the late Dr. and Mrs. John McAlpine Cross of Charleston. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Moore of Cleveland and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dennis R. Davidson of Hannibal, Mo.
Miss Cross is a 2016 graduate of Jackson Academy. She received her degree from the University of Mississippi 2020 in multi-disciplinary studies with emphasis in art, art history, and integrated marketing and communications. While at Ole Miss, she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. Miss Cross was presented by the Debutante Club of Mississippi in 2017. She is a member of the Junior League of Jackson and is affiliated with Mississippi Center for Plastic Surgery.
Davidson graduated from Jackson Academy in 2013. He is a 2017 graduate of the University of Mississippi earning a bachelor’s degree in accountancy with a minor in public policy leadership. He received a master’s degree in accountancy in 2018. While at Ole Miss, he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order. Mr. Davidson is a manager at Harper, Rains, Knight and Company, CPA firm.
The couple will exchange vows on December 13 at the Paris-Yates Chapel on the Ole Miss campus with the reception following at the Power House in Oxford.
