Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Rogers Ferguson of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Katherine Ferguson, to Pierce Michael DeMarco, the son of Victor Michael DeMarco and Mary Pierce DeMarco of Austin.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Allen Simmons Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lee Baroni, all of Natchez, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Arthur Ferguson of Clarksdale. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Linda Kay Pierce and the late Allen Boyd Pierce of Bells, Texas, Vicki Lee Fontaine of Austin, and the late Louis Michael DeMarco.
Miss Ferguson is a graduate of Jackson Academy. She attended the University of Mississippi where she graduated magna cum laude in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy. She then earned her master’s degree in accountancy in 2018. While at Ole Miss, she was an active member of the Chi Omega sorority. She is a CPA working as an advisory manager for Embark in Austin.
DeMarco is a graduate of Westwood High School. He attended the University of Mississippi where he graduated in 2018 with degrees in real estate and finance. At Ole Miss, he was an active member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. He is a financial analyst at Freehill Development Company in Austin.
The couple will exchange vows on January 27 at Central Christian Church in Austin. Following the wedding they will be at home in Austin.
