Robin Weathers Hall of Madison announces the engagement of her daughter, Callie Frances Hall, to John David Self of Madison. Miss Hall is also the daughter of the late Stanton Allen Hall of Madison.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Samuel Henry Hall and the late Mr. Hall of Hattiesburg, and Mirna Weathers Lynch of Plano, Texas, and the late Robert Page Weathers of Tyler, Texas.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Leigh Self of Jackson. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Douglas Self of Madison, and Mrs. Samuel Shipley Fisher and the late Mr. Fisher of Vaughn.
Miss Hall is a 2017 graduate of Jackson Academy. She earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2021 from the University of Mississippi and graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2023 with a master’s in nursing. While at Ole Miss, she was an active member of Chi Omega sorority. She is currently a nurse practitioner at Capital Ortho.
Self is a 2016 graduate of Germantown High School. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. While at MSU, he was an active member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He is a project manager in the insulation division of American Supply Company.
The couple will exchange vows on July 13 at First Baptist Church of Madison, with a reception to follow at Reunion Golf and Country Club.
