Mr. and Mrs. Mitchel Drew Hannon of Madison announce the engagement of their daughter, MacKenzie Drew Hannon, to Ryan Louis Jones of Jackson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Autrey Sirmon of Brandon and the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnny L. Hannon of Jackson.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Louis Jones Jr. of Jackson. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Louis Jones Sr. of New Orleans and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Biles Lowe Sr. of Benoit.
Miss Hannon is a 2009 graduate of Jackson Academy. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders with a minor in English from the University of Mississippi in 2013. While at Ole Miss, she was a member of Chi Omega fraternity. She is currently enrolled in the master’s program in integrated marketing communications at Ole Miss.
Jones is a 2008 honors graduate of Jackson Academy. He graduated from Ole Miss with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. While at Ole Miss, he was an active member of Sigma Nu fraternity and served as president of the Engineering Student Body. Jones received a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina in 2021. He is currently associated with ExxonMobil in Baton Rouge.
The couple will exchange vows on May 21 at the home of the bride.
