Mr. and Mrs. Blake Thornton Headley of Ridgeland announce the engagement of their daughter, Jordan Kelly Headley, to Noah James Methvin, son of Jamie Mahan Methvin and Dr. James Travis Methvin, both of Starkville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Edgar Peters of Ridgeland and Beverly Thornton Headley of Brandon and Nolan Arthur Headley of Greenville. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Angus Campbell Mahan Jr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo Smith, all of Helena, Ark.
Miss Headley is a 2019 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. In 2021, she was presented by the Debutante Club of Mississippi. She graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in applied behavior analysis. While at MSU, she was an active member of Chi Omega sorority. She will graduate in May 2025 with a master’s in counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary.
Methvin is a 2018 graduate of Starkville Academy. He graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in criminology. While at MSU, he was an active member of Sigma Chi fraternity, where he served as president. He was also a Road Runner and a member of the ROTC. He is a First Lieutenant and pilot in the United States Army at Fort Cavazos, Texas.
The couple will exchange vows on June 21 at First Baptist Church in Jackson with a reception to follow at the Mississippi Museum of Art. After the wedding, they will make their home in Temple, Texas.
