Mr. and Mrs. Robert Michael Hederman IV of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Avery Elizabeth Hederman, to Connor Quinn Stewart, son of Drs. Mary Ellen and Jimmy Lee Stewart Jr. of Terry.
Miss Hederman is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Charles McCormick of Brandon and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Michael Hederman III of Jackson. Stewart is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Lee Stewart of Hattiesburg and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo Patrick “Pat” Reeves Sr. of Byram.
The bride-elect is a 2019 graduate of Jackson Academy. She graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi College in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, specializing in accounting, with a minor in English literature. While at Mississippi College she was a member of the inaugural class of the Honors College and a member of Laguna Social Tribe. She was an All American and served as captain for the women’s soccer team. She earned her Master of Business Administration in 2024 from Mississippi College and is currently associated with Grantham Poole, PLLC.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2019 graduate of Park Place Christian Academy. He graduated from Mississippi College in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. While at Mississippi College he was a member of Civitan Service Club and served as captain and five-time All-American for the men’s track and field team. He is currently a registered nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Blair E. Batson Hospital in Jackson.
The couple will exchange vows August 9 at Fondren Church, with a reception following at River Hills Club.
