Shayna Hutchings and Douglas Dragotta of Brunswick, Ga. announce the engagement of their daughter Bliss Hutchings to Palmer Levi Chinchen, son of Laura E. Chinchen and the late Rev. Dr. Paul D. Chinchen of Jackson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Debra Dean of Darien, Ga. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Pauline Epperson of Burnet, Texas and Nell Barksdale Robertson Chinchen and the late Rev. Dr. John W. Chinchen of Jackson.
First Lieutenant Bliss Hutchings is a 2018 graduate of Glynn Academy in Brunswick. She received her bachelor’s degree in Arabic and French from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2022. She is an armor officer in the United States Army, currently stationed at Fort Carson, Colo.
First Lieutenant Palmer Levi Chinchen is a 2018 graduate of Madison Ridgeland Academy in Madison. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2022. He is an armor officer in the United States Army, currently stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas.
The couple will exchange vows on July 27 in Orange Park, Fla.
