Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Douglas Markow of Ridgeland announce the engagement of their daughter, Julia Saunders Markow, to John Arthur Eaves III, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Arthur Eaves Jr. of Madison, and the late Karen Lindley Eaves of Madison.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Spears Ellett II of Richmond, Va., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter John Markow Sr. of Jackson.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Arthur Eaves Sr. of Canton, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Thomas Lindley of Jonesboro, Ark.
Miss Markow is a 2012 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. She graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in marketing from the School of Business. While at Ole Miss, she was an active member of the Chi Omega sorority. She is currently the inventory manager at Libby Story in Ridgeland.
Eaves is a 2012 graduate of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School. He received an associate’s degree from Holmes Community College and an economics degree from the University of Mississippi. He is currently a Realtor with Bedford Realty.
The couple will exchange vows on February 10 at First Presbyterian Church of Jackson.
