Melanie Furlow McDaniel of Dallas and Russell Lynn McDaniel of Oxford announce the engagement of their daughter, Christina Grace McDaniel to John Paul Sloan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Franklin Sloan of Phoenix.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thomas McDaniel of Jackson and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Clayton Furlow Jr. of Jackson. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Denes Bardos and the late Mrs. Bardos and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Sloan, all of Memphis.
Miss McDaniel is a 2012 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. She graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2017 with a bachelor of science in communication sciences and disorders where she was an active member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She is currently an account manager with Megaport in Nashville.
Sloan is a 2013 graduate of Germantown High School and was graduated in 2017 from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in managerial finance, banking and finance. While at Ole Miss, he was an active member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He currently serves as an investment banking associate at Ziegler in Nashville.
The couple will exchange their vows on June 22 at The Mill at Plein Air in Oxford and will make their home in Nashville.
