Dr. and Mrs. John Thomas McReynolds Jr. announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Margaret McReynolds, to Christopher Clinton Russell of Madison. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randal Clinton Russell of Madison.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. John Thomas McReynolds Sr. and the late Mr. McReynolds of Starkville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Terry R. Blackstock of Jackson, Tennessee.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. J. Raymond McMullan and the late Mr. McMullan of Ridgeland and Mrs. Fred Clinton Russell and the late Mr. Russell of Decatur.
Miss McReynolds is a 2018 graduate of Starkville Academy. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mississippi State University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. While at Mississippi State, she was an active member of Kappa Delta sorority.
Russell is a 2018 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mississippi State University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy. While at Mississippi State, he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. He is currently in his third year at the School of Dentistry at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
The couple will exchange vows on April 26 at First Presbyterian Church in Starkville with a reception to follow at the home of the bride. After the wedding, they will make their home in Madison.
