Rivers Carroll Mounger and Robert Gore Mounger of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Anne Rivers Mounger, to Patrick Russell Geary of Madison.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. William Donald Mounger and the late Mr. Mounger, and Robert Arthur Carroll and the late Mrs. Carroll, all of Jackson.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hart Geary Jr. of Madison. He is the grandson of Mrs. John Hart Geary Sr. and the late Mr. Geary of Jackson, and the late Bobbye Buffalo Perry and the late Meadow Perry Jr. of Yazoo City.
Miss Mounger is a 2017 graduate of Jackson Prep. She earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Baylor University in 2021. While at Baylor, she was an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and Vertical Ministries. She is currently attending the University of St. Augustine and will receive her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy in May of 2025.
Geary is a 2017 graduate of Madison Central. He attended Mississippi State University and graduated in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. While at MSU, he was an active member of Beta Upsilon Chi fraternity and Music Maker Productions. He will attend the University of Mississippi Medical Center and will receive his Doctor of Medicine in May of 2028.
The couple will exchange vows on July 6 at Fondren Church, with the reception to follow at the Country Club of Jackson.
