Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Richard Nine of Dallas announce the engagement of their daughter, Georgia Rachel Nine, to Neil Pryor Marchetti of Jackson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Todd Robertson of McAllen, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nine of McCall, Idaho.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert David Marchetti of Jackson. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gray Marchetti of Jackson and the late Dorothy Poore Cates and the late Edward Lawson Cates of Jackson.
Miss Nine is a 2019 graduate of Trinity Christian Academy in Dallas. She earned her bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from the University of Alabama in 2022. While at Alabama, she was an active member of Chi Omega sorority and Best Buddies. Miss Nine remained at the University of Alabama to obtain two master’s degrees—her MBA and a master’s in hospitality management. She currently lives in Boston and works for The Boston Globe as an events manager.
Marchetti is a 2019 graduate of Jackson Prep. He attended the University of Mississippi and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 2023. While at Ole Miss, he was an active member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Marchetti continued his education at Ole Miss and obtained his MBA while serving as president of the 2024 Ole Miss MBA class. He currently lives in Boston and works at Cannon Design as a mechanical engineer.
The couple will exchange vows on August 30 at McCall Community Church, with a reception to follow at the Shore Lodge. McCall, Idaho, is the hometown of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nine and a longtime favorite destination for Miss Nine, Marchetti, and the Nine family.
