Mr. and Mrs. Robert Phillip Parker of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Grace Goodwin Parker, to Thomas Alexander Greenlee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Edwin Greenlee of Batesville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kennon Nelson of Benoit and Phyllis Grosskopf Parker of Ridgeland and the late Robert Day Parker.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Betty Jean Greenlee and the late Thomas Greenlee of Batesville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Malavasi of Lambert.
Miss Parker is a 2019 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. She graduated magna cum laude from Mississippi State University in 2022, where she received a bachelor’s degree in arts and science, before attending and graduating from University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing. While at Mississippi State, she was a member of Delta Gamma sorority. She is currently a registered nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at St. Jude Hospital in Memphis.
Greenlee is a 2018 graduate of North Delta School. He graduated magna cum laude from Mississippi State University in 2022, with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering. While at Mississippi State, he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He is currently working for Medtronic as a quality engineer in Memphis.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, July 12, at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, with a reception to follow at Old Capital Inn. The couple will make their home in Memphis.
