Mr. and Mrs. Michael Darrell Randall of Oxford announce the engagement of their daughter, Hannah Elizabeth Randall, to Russ Walker Upton, son of Dr. and Mrs. Charles Carey Upton Jr. of Jackson.
Miss Randall is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lloyd Hawkins of Forest and Alice Gwendolyn Randall and the late Darrell Randall of Holly Bluff. Upton is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Roderick Seal Russ III of Ridgeland and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Carey Upton of West Point.
The bride-elect is a 2020 graduate of Oxford High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Mississippi’s Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College in 2024. While at Ole Miss she served as community service director for Chi Omega sorority. She was the finance chair for Ole Miss’ Big Event and served as the Rebelthon director of sponsorship. She is currently studying in the physician assistant program at Mississippi College.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2020 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. He also graduated from the University of Mississippi’s Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College with a degree in biochemistry. While at Ole Miss he served as chaplain for Sigma Chi fraternity. He was a member of the Ole Miss Columns Society and was active in RUF. He is currently completing his second year of medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
The couple will exchange wedding vows on May 2 at Christ Presbyterian Church in Oxford with a reception following at The Jefferson.
