Steven Snelson and Amy Crites Richardson and Keith Bradley Richardson announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Allen Snelson, to Robert Spencer Wallace of Jackson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Richard Don Crites of Springfield, Mo. and Annabel Lee Crites of Tucson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gary Michael Snelson of Willard, Mo.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Duff Wallace of Madison. He is the grandson of John Arthur Bennett and the late Lynda Anne Bennett of Benton, Ark., and Janice Pevey Wallace and the late Dr. Willie Robert Wallace of Franklinton, La.
Miss Snelson is a 2019 graduate of Glendale High School in Springfield. She graduated summa cum laude from Millsaps College in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. While at Millsaps, she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society and was an active member of the Chi Omega fraternity, serving as member educator. Miss Snelson is currently the Corporate and Foundations Gift Manager at Millsaps.
Wallace is a 2018 graduate of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School. He graduated summa cum laude from Millsaps College in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. While at Millsaps, he was an active member of Rotaract, serving as charter president, and the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, serving as philanthropy chair. Wallace will begin his second year of medical school in the fall at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
The couple will exchange vows on June 21 at The Reed House with a reception to follow. After the wedding, they will travel to Kauai for their wedding trip.
