Mr. and Mrs. David McDonald Storey of Ocean Springs announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Abigail Storey, to Noah Thompson Joyner, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jerry Joyner Jr. of Flowood.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Charles R Storey of Gulfport, the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Skrmetta of River Ridge, La., and Mr. and Mrs. Earl B. Blessey Jr. of Ocean Springs.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Claire Anepohl, Steve Sanders of Brandon, Jerry Joyner and the late Doris Joyner of Byram.
Miss Storey is a graduate of Mississippi State University where she was an active member of the Phi Mu sorority, graduating with a degree in kinesiology. She then earned her doctor of physical therapy degree at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2023 and is currently in practice at Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital of Jackson.
Joyner is a 2015 graduate of Madison Ridgeland Academy. He attended Mississippi State University where he was an active member of the Gamma Upsilon Chapter of the Sigma Chi fraternity. He graduated cum laude from MSU with a bachelor of accountancy degree in 2019 followed by a master of professional accountancy in 2020. He currently serves as a senior accountant at Carr, Riggs, & Ingram CPAs and Advisors in Ridgeland.
The couple will exchange vows May 18 at First Presbyterian Church of Ocean Springs, after which they will make their home in Madison.
