Tracey Ainsworth Warwick and William Anthony Warwick, both of Jackson, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Warwick, to Richard Watkins Rein of Ridgeland. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Daniel Ainsworth and Mrs. William Wallace Warwick and the late Mr. Warwick, all of Jackson.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Joseph Rein Jr. of Ridgeland. He is the grandson of Mrs. William Warren Watkins and the late The Reverend Watkins of Vicksburg, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Joseph Rein of Brookhaven.
Miss Warwick is a 2017 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. She graduated cum laude from Mississippi College in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and a minor in psychology. In 2025, she received her master’s degree in strategic communication from Mississippi College. She is currently a clinical recruiter for Community Health Systems (Merit Health Hospitals).
Rein is a 2018 graduate of Saint Andrew’s Episcopal School. He attended Birmingham-Southern College where he graduated cum laude in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He then graduated summa cum laude with his master’s degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2023. Rein is currently a medical school student at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and will graduate in 2027.
The couple will exchange vows on September 6 at First Baptist Church of Jackson, with the reception to follow at the Country Club of Jackson. After the wedding, they will make their home in Jackson.
