Kandie Leigh Whittington of McComb announces the engagement of her daughter, Victoria Leigh Whittington, to Thomas Crosby Boone of Madison.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Joseph Troy Whittington. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Terry Glass and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Criston Whittington, all of McComb.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Lee Boone of Madison. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Girault Weiler Jones of Grenada and Mrs. William Roy Boone and the late Mr. Boone of Ridgeland.
Miss Whittington is a 2018 graduate of Parklane Academy. She attended the University of Mississippi and earned her bachelor’s degree in accountancy in 2022 and her master’s degree in accountancy in 2023. While at Ole Miss, she was a member of Chi Omega fraternity. She is currently a senior consultant at BVWD in Dallas.
Boone is a 2018 graduate of Germantown High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2022 from the University of Mississippi. While at Ole Miss, he was the vice president of Sigma Chi fraternity. He is currently a remodeling consultant at Power Home Remodeling in Irving, Texas.
The couple will exchange vows on March 21 at Paris-Yates Chapel in Oxford, with a reception to follow at The Isom Place. They will make their home in Dallas.
